Message to Customers Regarding COVID-19

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding as we work hard to continue to serve you during this challenging time for our county, country and world.  As the situation evolves, we will continue to make changes at the Lamb Inn to ensure we do our best to support our customers and employees through this difficult and sensitive time.  We remain committed to doing what we can to keep our environments, our customers and our employees as safe as possible so that we may continue to serve our community and provide people with the support they need to ensure they and their families are well cared for.  

Ensuring Safe Food Handling and Hygiene Practices. We are being vigilant about ensuring employees are following our standard safe practices for food handling and hygiene, and have increased our supply of gloves and hand sanitizers for employees.

Increasing Hard Surface Area Cleaning. We have increased the routine cleaning of all high-touch, hard surface areas. Please know that we are committed to taking every measure possible to keep our customers and employees safe and healthy so you will continue to feel comfortable being with us. We will also be communicating with you if and when we have additional updates or information to share.

Test and Trace initiative, when you arrive you’ll be asked to register your details.  Please note that it is mandatory for guests to provide contact details for test and trace purposes, and if this is not provided entry can be refused.

Please also be aware that it is mandatory for all guests  to wear a face covering when moving around our bar or restaurant. It is not necessary to wear a face covering when seated at your table. This does not apply to children under the age of 11 or to guests and team members with medical exemptions. Thank you for your cooperation.

Welcome

Owners Chris and Rachel warmly welcome you to the Lamb Inn a Free House, country pub in the picturesque village of Silverton and on cold winters nights an Inglenook real fire will warmly welcome you.

Chris prides himself on his good range of real ales from a stillage on the back of the bar where your pint will be served straight from the barrel.  You will find us in the Good Beer Guide. Most of our Ales are supplied by local Devon breweries.

A warm welcome awaits all visitors old & new, families and four legged friends.  The Lamb Inn has disabled facilities. Why not come along to one of our quiz or live music nights and enjoy a great night in a great atmosphere!

We believe in good, home cooked food done well, using the freshest local produce.

Enjoy a fabulous lunch or dinner – we offer a traditional snack & bar menu with favourites including wonderful steaks produced & butchered locally,  and a Sunday Roast Dinner.  We have a selection of Vegetarian meals all home cooked and will accommodate all dietary needs.

" Good pub grub! We’ve been here to eat a few times and always found it to be a very friendly and welcoming pub. The food is home cooked, fresh to order and served very promptly. There is always a specials board with lots of in-season, local produce and they are always knowledgable about the menu and happy to adapt meals to suit one’s requirements. The landlord, is a pleasant chap who knows a lot about the menu and the various drinks on offer; there is a wide variety of local ales and spirits - including a great selection of gins. Definitely recommended for a proper pub meal! "
